If there's one thing I've learnt about writing, it's this:

​

Writing, I've discovered, isn't a straight road. It's a series of unexpected paths, wrong turnings, quiet revelations and joyful surprises. This website follows that journey.

​

I don’t always know where the words will take me. Sometimes they become novels, following women who step away from familiar lives into landscapes that quietly change them. Whether among the rolling hills of rural France or on a windswept Atlantic island, they discover that life's unexpected detours can lead somewhere they never imagined.

 

Other times, the words arrive as poetic prose or poetry, inspired by women's lived experiences, a fleeting moment in nature, island landscapes, ordinary moments, the quiet truths hidden within them or simply wondering why a pair of walking boots suddenly have something to say.. Some pieces are thought-provoking, others deeply emotive, and some celebrate life's wonderfully absurd moments with a touch of dry British humour.

This website is more than a place to share my writing. It's where I document the journey behind it; the stories taking shape, the blogs that emerge along the way, the occasional creative rabbit hole, and the joy of discovering something I didn't know I was looking for.

My work has appeared in the Portuguese literary magazine Ogygia: Revista Literária, and I'm currently writing my first novel alongside several collections of poetic prose and poetry.
